An all black look is a fail-safe option for winter. However, I prefer a pop of colour somewhere to keep the outfit a bit more interesting. This week, as the temperature drops a bit, and by drops I mean we’re still in the 20°c zone here in Rabat Morocco, I went for an all black outfit with my favourite winter pieces.
Most of the pieces are last season’s or the one before, but one call always find similar options. The button-down on top of a rollneck look has been going around for a while now, and it’s always chic yet practical to go for. A leather jacket is one of those investment pieces that one can never regret spending a bit more money on, which also applies to good winter boots.
To keep the outfit from looking gothic, especially with my septum piercing, I chose a feminine denim button-down, light makeup and a youthful metallic rucksack. Switching from a shoulder bag to a rucksack when going out has been such a relief for my backache despite it sometimes looking too childish when not accessorized well or when the shape of the bag is not chosen carefully. Seriously, this rucksack has been a life changer.
