#MoroccanMonday look 79

We probably all know by now how much I love culottes. It appears I won’t stop until I have a pair in every single style and colour. It’s also funny how I keep convincing myself that every single pair is new, different and absolutely essential for my closet such as this one. From the bow in the front to the beautiful navy colour, it was something I just couldn’t walk out of the shop without. The only thing missing is pockets, that would’ve made it perfect.

One thing I also love is a comfortable button-down, and that’s also something I tend to buy in different styles and colours. Wearing head-to-toe masculine pieces on a woman is not easy to pull off but when done correctly it’s very fashion-forward and stylish in my eyes. With that said, styling masculine pieces in a feminine way instead and pairing them with extremely feminine colours is also one of my favourite things to do, and that’s what I did in this week’s look. The pinstriped button-down is somewhat masculine looking, and pairing it with these culottes that have a bow in the front not only make the look more casual rather than proper office attire, but they also add femininity and compliment the red lip and nails flawlessly.

The brogues would also be described as mannish, but the metallic sheen and, again, the red accents as well as feminine bow of the culottes soften the look up making it more ladylike.
