#MoroccanMonday look 80

As much as discovering new locations to shoot at is nice, finding ones unexpectedly is like winning the lottery. I was initially planning to shoot this look in a regular location against a white wall and minimal colour. However, strolling through Casablanca last weekend we bumped into this beautiful wall filled with gravity made by some very talented local artists. I love how the colours in the abckground make the outfit pop even more especially the striped jeans.

Band tees are clothing pieces one can’t have enough of in my eyes, and even though this is the first one I found that I loved, I’m sure multiple ones will be making appearances on my blog in the near future as I hunt them down. I knew I wanted to pair the shirt with my striped trousers but I didn’t really have in mind what elese to add in order to complete the look, and that’s where Instagram comes in handy. I found inspiration in one of Ascia’s photos by adding my denim jacket for some colour and coverage.

Sometimes, I picture an entire look in my head and know exactly what pair of shoes would go perfectly with this even though I don’t really have them. In this case, the Balenciaga booties would make this look grungy and add that perfect badass touch to it. Unfortunately, as I haven’t won the lottery yet to be able to afford those booties (not that I play it, calm down), I went with my trusted metallic brogues instead that, to be honest, go well with the look as well and actually match the simple handbag I’m obviously obsessed with.

I would’ve never guessed that these striped jeans would go with so many outfits, which they luckily do and that does mean they’ll be featured in more posts on my blog for absolute certainty.
