When picking out my outfit whilst I’m feeling a bit down -which was the case here- I tend to grab pieces that either remind me of happier times with loved ones or were actually gifted to me by them; case in point, this beautiful pair of sunglasses, ballerinas and the cute handbag which were all received as gifts.
Pale pink has been trendy lately along with small handbags, which is perfect (although, to be honest, I would’ve found a away to rock them regardless). For some reason, whenever I want to wear this green jumper I combine it with stripes of some sort, and this time I chose to layer it on top of a striped sleeveless button-down allowing it to peek through to make the outfit a bit more interesting and the back area somewhat covered.
I would’ve never thought about pairing green with blush pink, but somehow I found the combination to be very fresh and feminine. The ripped boyfriend jeans is both comfortable and breezy all whilst making the outfit look put together.
Adding one’s touch using accessories is the perfect way to elevate a look or dress it down. For a little fun twist, I wore these (VERY) fake glasses my bestie purchased as a joke. I’ve been seeing them all over the internet in different shades, so I now I actually think they’re cool.. I’m even considering buying real ones for daily use.
