#MoroccanMonday look 30

Hello everyone!

This week’s look comes courtesy of my fabulous younger sister Safia who was willing to pose for some photos after I styled her.

She bought this dress without really thinking what to combine it with, which is probably the case for 90% of the things women buy-myself included of course-but thank God it wasn’t such a hard thing to style after all. I love how modest it is and the salmon straps that give it a more summery look. It has a stretchy fabric making it very comfortable to wear during hot days.

At first, she didn’t want to try it on with a white button-down underneath because, according to her, it would look too bulky or preppy. However, and because I know what I’m talking about, she tried it on regardless and quite liked it. Make sure whatever button-down you layer underneath a somewhat fitted dress is tight and fitted to avoid the bulkiness. A white turban was a no-brainer really, as were the fun turquoise sandals.

The bag however doesn’t suit this whole look to be honest, but she held it because her own handbag was too heavy. I would recommend a light-coloured clutch or a small strappy purse. A neat silver cuff bracelet would be perfect, but you can also add some bangles like we did.

As you may notice, my sister’s stronger suit is definitely makeup. I’ve been bugging her about being featured in my blog with a nice outfit for months and she finally agreed, so who knows? maybe one day she’ll also agree to post a full makeup look for all of us.
