I’ve noticed that having such good weather here in Morocco most of the times, my brain and mood have become easily affected by it. Whenever it’s gloomy it’s like I force myself to be sad and down. However, one of the baby steps I’m trying to turn into a habit and eventually a spontaneous reaction to weather, is trying to dress in happy colours or pieces that actually make me happy in order to strip the weather off the importance I’ve unconciously given it. Therefore, wearing my happy sunglasses was a given.
I usually either like a monochromatic look or opposite colours that still compliment each other. However, because the rest of my outfit was black and white, I decided to match my sunglasses to my jacket. The yellow lifted my mood and embraced summer that’s basically around the colour. Adding the metallic rucksack was needed due to all the exploring we did the day of the mini shoot, but its colour also helped break the predictable colours my outfit consisted of.
Shooting with my younger brother who had taken most of my photos is always a blast, but having a friend with you behind the camera every once in a while challenges you in a different way. One of my closest friends very kindly agreed o shoot these photos and let’s just say it was too much fun and interesting to not do it again, so she better keep her camera ready.
