#MoroccanMonday look 107

Typing a blog post again feels odd yet natural in a strange way. Yet I can’t help but feel that that’s how life rolls. One day you’re too sad to function or even think, and the next you’re feeling a tad like your old self again yet different.

July has been a rollercoaster of emotions to say the least. I’ve been happy, heck even euphoric with my dearest in Malta only to be crushed and heart broken when I got back due to the very sudden loss of my father. It wasn’t easy and still isn’t, but after being surrounded with my closest friends and family these past few weeks trying to pick myself up as well as my family members along the way made all the difference. These moments really do show you the quality of people you’re surrounded by and what they, as well as you, are made of. Being a home body that dislikes change especially when it’s sudden, I’ve been fortunate enough to have the support I need to adjust to the sudden change and cope with it all.

The biggest lesson I probably learnt is that dwelling on things will not make them change when they’ve already happened, and one needs to try to move on as best as they can. Therefore, after some internal debate with myself, I decided to post my first look I’ve worn in Malta as these photos and all the clips I’ve filmed give me so much happiness and take me back to my carefree self with my besties in a foreign land we both explored for the first time.

I LOVED this dress the minute I saw it. The vibrant colour and pattern scream holidays and it being kind of covered made it suitable for the outfits I had in mind.

I was THIS close to buying a similar belt bag in yellow to go with it but decided against it because let’s be real, buying a bag to wear once is kind of ridiculous. However, the dress did have a tiny bit of blue in it (I know you can’t see it that much but just take my word for it lol) so I feel like the bag still goes.
