Suits have been major lately and I’m loving it! Especially ones in vibrant colours and classic cuts giving off that #BossLady vibes. unfortunately, I was unable to find my size in a fuschia-coloured nor jade green suit, but settled for this dusty pink pinstriped (or zigzagged) one and I’m not disappointed.
I’ll still be looking for the perfect pastel suit (I have a VERY soft spot for pastels) but until then, let me enjoy this comfortable and quite demure one I scored a few weeks ago.
I love pairing suits with classic white trainers, but also love how elegant they look with a pair of heels such as these beauties I’m still not over. Seriously, they can zhuzh up any outfit whether it’s basic casual or already very glam.
I chose to keep the rest of the pieces somewhat neutral and went for a basic white tee, a grey turban and minimal accessories (well, if you call those statement earrings minimal). I also tried this look with a bold red lip and white trainers later that day and I’m here to report back that it actually looked impeccable as well. I got a lot of compliments. I guess that would be my day-to-day look with this suit for work or busy days in general.
I would’ve loved for the blazer to be a bit more modern by being slightly shorter and round at the front as well as no cutouts on the sides, but I guess rolling the sleeves up and going for modern accessories such as my retro sunglasses (they’re nineties but are considered modern nowadays as they’re back in style) made it work.
