#MoroccanMonday look 85 X B.day

After my b.day plans went awry, I decided to treat myself to a much-deserved shopping spree in Casablanca, followed by a relaxed weekend, which did not disappoint.

I went cray-cray in my favourite shops, namely Bershka, Zara and H&M, resulting in some incredible key-pieces I was looking for as well as some trendy numbers we’ve been seeing all over social media. My initial plan was to bascially get a few new coats, but you know how these things go, I ended up buying all kinds of things except the coats, obviously.

The chequered trousers have been owned by nearly every famous blogger on Istagram, and being into anything black and white, I was clearly on-board with that trend. These trousers are not only fashionable in my opinion, but also extremely comfortable with the flared shape and cool bow detail at the waist as well as the zipper. The stretchy fabric was a very welcome addition.

As I packed light, I didn’t have much choice when it came to tops, so I opted for this new flashy yellow top I got from Bershka the same day. I initially bought it with another outfit in mind that’ll be featured soon on the blog, but it went too well with these trousers to pass up and gave a retro look. The billowy sleeves are the new ruffles, and they were definitely what drew me to the top in the first place.

Adding comfy white trainers would also go well, but I preferred my black heels to add some glam to the somewhat casual outfit. The dark lips and statement earrings draw enough attention on their own and give off an Autumnal vibe, but the heels lock everything together for sure. A successful birthday outfit!
