This Monday look takes me back to my all time favourite colour: black. An all black er’ything outfit is timeless, you can rock it all year long, even during summer if you keep your pieces light. Adding different textures is key to mastering this look, such as this classic (faux) leather biker jacket and comfy suede knee-high boots.
I could’ve worn the LBD alone (yes, it’s actually a dress not a skirt), but decided to add this cute striped crop top because: A – It was cold and the dress is sleeveless, and B – My endless love for stripes as well as black and white. I’ve been in love with round shades ever since they came out, Aviators don’t quite suit the shape of my face so I steer clear from them, but you can always add whatever funky eyewear you’re into.
Adding the right accessories is what can make or break an all-black outfit, whether you choose to wear a golden watch (what I prefer) or add other pieces, try to keep it minimal, you want to give the impression that you didn’t plan this outfit for hours in front of a mirror, but just threw it on on your way out like the cool chick that you are. As I always say, a red lip can elevate this look, as well as any other look really, along with a trendy pair of high-heeled knee-high boots to keep you warm and stylish.
