I absolutely love it when comfortable pieces are trending, and this season’s Teddy bear coat is right up my alley. Even though I have not found the perfect one for me (well, not the one I can afford at least), it did not stop me from borrowing my sister’s. After all, isn’t that what sisters are for? (this does’t go both ways by the way).
Taking a peek into another person’s wardrobe is always fun, as you can find beautiful pieces you wouldn’t normally buy/wear but still feel tempted enough to try; and that’s what happened to me with this coat. Apart from its somewhat rough fabric, the colour alone would’ve thrown me off. However, after seeing it on and how comfortable it looks, I decided to challenge myself and actually style it in something more fun other than the very predictable all-black look one would usually go for.
I love how this look turned out. This is actual proof that stripes can be seen as a neutral, and a boyfriend jeans is worth investing in. I’ve had these pieces for a while, and styling them with new ones is always a treat. I cannot wait to borrow this coat again and style it differently, or even find my own (affordable) teddy bear coat and actually buy it (gasp!).
