Being stuck in a fashion rut appears quite often than one might think. Luckily, social media and magazines are a huge source of inspiration for me and almost never fail to give me an idea or two on what to feature on the blog.
This week, I took the safe road by going for a Canadian tuxedo with a bit of a twist. Using striped pieces as neutral ones is such a fashion win in my books regardless of what you pair them with. Instead of wearing a classic denim top and bottom look and then pairing those with one colourful pieces, I opted for a striped top as a layering piece underneath it all, a patterned cardigan to keep me warm and a flashy pair of booties. I’m still in love with these boots especially because of the short heel that doesn’t ache at all.
