#MoroccanMonday look 56

Every once in a while, you bump into a piece of clothing that you instantly fall in love with, that’s what happened to me when with this top. From the gorgeous golden thread and asymmetrical hem, I knew I had to bring it back home with me. Also, it being on sale was definitely a bonus!

At first glance, one might find styling this top a bit tricky due to the metallic accents-myself included to be honest-but I love me a challenge when it comes to fashion. Instead of pairing it with denim and making it look casual, I decided to take the somewhat safer route and wear my favourite high-waisted trousers to make it look elegant, and add heels for sophistication. I absolutely love the golden threads that give it such a chic look and the asymmetric hem is absolutely perfect! If it were up to me, tops would never have symmetric hems.

The makeup look I went for was faded red lips which I prefer over perfectly lined ones any day because ain’t nobody got time to perfectly line them anyway (well, not me at least). I’m a big fan of navy and red together; it’s a very chic look especially with golden accents.

As the top has golden details and the trousers have silver ones, to keep them from clashing I added mixed jewellery. The fact that this cuff has gold and silver combined makes it a life saviour when it comes to situations like these. The creamy coat adds enough colour (and warmth) to the whole mix.
