No matter how much I love colourful outfits, there is something about a whole black outfit that will always make me feel a tad more confident and edgy, especially when a leather jacket is involved such as this one I borrowed from my sister.
As colder days are approaching, we find ourselves browsing the internet or hitting the mall trying to find fashionable pieces to add to our winter wardrobe, because let’s be honest, although we still have last year’s clothes, there is always room for more. Naturally, I’m no exception. I went shopping for some new pieces and found this extremely comfy high-waisted jegging, along with this cute plaid button-down that I just had to have. I styled these two pieces in the easiest way possible by combining them with an all black outfit.
Tying a button-down around your waist helps with coverage and adds movement as well as a pop of colour to an outfit. I love how versatile button-downs are, you can use them for layering, tying them around the waist or simply wearing them alone for a nerdy look.
These Nike trainers that I bought last summer were definitely a bargain! Not only are they comfortable and cool, they’re made of actual leather, which makes them very warm during these cold days. I’ll probably keep on wearing them until they’re all scuffed.
