Salam everyone!
First and foremost, Eid mubarak (happy Eid) to you all! May Allah accept your good deeds during this holy month of Ramadan.
The key piece of this week’s “Eid look”, if you will, is a long bright maxi dress. I’ve expressed my slight dislike of maxi dresses and skirts in my previous post, but I sure don’t mind one every once in a while. Especially when it’s this colourful and happy. Besides, maxi dresses never go out of style if you ask me.
I’ve purchased this dress about two or three years ago and I’m still not planning on getting rid of it any time soon. It comes in very handy during these hot months and when you just can’t figure out what to wear. In addition to that, the asymmetric hem makes it look sophisticated and expensive, it also shows your feet which is perfect to show off your pedicure or a pair of chic gladiator sandals.
I almost always team this dress up with my floral clutch that I’ve also purchased a few years ago as well as my denim jacket. I rarely use clutches because my daily necessities can’t fit into one-or so I tell myself-and I prefer free hands as opposed to having to hold something the whole time. However, it’s nice to change up bags every once in a while especially with a floral one that adds brightness and print to an otherwise simple look.
